Harlequin Ladybird Control
Harlequin Ladybirds come in a variety of colours with red, yellow and black spotted shells, which can make identification difficult. Harlequin Ladybirds are beetles and measure 7mm – 8mm in length. Harlequin Ladybirds are a new nuisance pest originating from Eastern Asia, they came to the U.K. in 2004 and are spreading from the South-East. Harlequin Ladybugs are often found on window frames, blinds, curtains and in lofts. Humans can be allergic to a substance produced by the beetles.
